vanishing cane works well in stage situations and in one of my favorite things to do, makes for a great street effect when well placed (usually to attract a crowd). It is a great device and simple to master, leaving much room for creativity, but it does have it's faults. This cane is much harder then some others to handle. It has to be gripped tightly and lacks a certain element in keeping the cane managable. The price for the uday vanishing cane is a great bargin, but if this is going to be a staple in your routine, I would strongly advise you to buy another brand. This is the type of cane that you would use to start your show because of the difficult setup and storage. As I said before, the cheif fault in this perticular cane is that you have to handle it almost all of the time. If you saw the trailer on Youtube or elsewhere, you may think that this is an easily managable device, but in actuallity it is kind of awkward to use. If you want something to grab your audience's eyes and securely fix them on you, this is how you would do it. One word of caution, as an effect of it's own, this effect will not work. It is almost a necessity to use the scarf, silk, bandanna, etc. that appears from the cane for a further effect.
